Although, I've had good luck using regular sized quick connects on small pins.

You might have to adjust them with a pliers a little for a good friction fit.

In other words, just use half of a quick connect pinched with a pliers.

That's what I did with mine.

Since then I have seen 3/16" QDs at Radio Shack, so smaller ones do exist if you want to go to the trouble.

I don't know their size, but I used the smallest disconnects that I found in my stockpile of arcade related parts for my Centipede volcano's....

They fit quite well and don't come loose.

3/16" = .187", i.e. the size for normal button and joystick microswitch tabs, which I would assume is too wide.

They do make very narrow QD's (I would guess 1/8"). Check your local car audio shop. A lot of car audio speakers have a normal 1/4" QD tab and a very narrow QD tab (looks to be about half the width). This is to prevent the installer from accidentally reversing the polarity of the speakers. I've bought some of these very narrow QD's from a local car audio place for my car speakers, and it is the only place I've ever seen that had them. They look just like the typical crimp-on half-insulated QD's, except about half the width.

Edit: It looks like Mike's Arcade has them - http://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/store.pl?sku=QD110RED

Don't know if that's the right size for volcano button switches or not—you'd have to measure the width of the tabs.

A .110 disconnect is what I used on a custom CP fro a freind 2 years ago and they still hold just fine.
