Can you get T-Molding from retail stores?

crackbone:

Just curious.. I know it's more of a specialty item, but if anyone knows of a B&M store that sells them (particularly in the Cincy area) I'd like to know.

Thanks,

Crack.

I went to both Home Depot and Lowes and neither one of them had it. They didn't even have a suitable replacement.

heck home depot and lowes in arizona looked at me like i had a third eye for even asking for it...half of them didn't even know what I was talking about. Found it rather odd though, there is alot of office type furniture that use t-molding usually thicker than 3/4" but the same stuff...guess that isn't a do it yourself project eh?

paigeoliver:

When I asked they also thought I was a martian, but they didn't act strange when I brought a piece in. Instead they just looked everywhere for it, but never found any.

I'm located in NYC... and HD and a few other major DIY stores don't have it at all....

yes... I ask them if they have t-molding... and they ask me what t-molding... and send me to molding for the foot of the wall....
