Ah Ha! I knew I'd find the URL eventually. I don't necessarily agree with everything this guy points out, but he does raise interesting issues that deserve to be chewed on.

Allmost all of the lamps in our house use these already,  we dont have any flickering or slow warm-up issues.  Probably have to go with quartz lights in the shop to offset the flourescants when it gets closer to time to change. 

There are just some locations those arent bright enough for, without having to put in half a dozen.
