Borrowed the book, want to buy
« on: December 18, 2007, 09:19:16 pm »
Yesterday I found out that the Singapore National Library has a copy of the excellent Project Arcade book. I've read it yesterday but wonder if there will be an updated version anytime soon? I guess references to Slikstik might be left out and a few more projects (like a mini-bartop) might be included. All in all a very good book!

Three shalt be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, nor either count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three.

Probably not going to be a second edition anytime soon.  Check out this thread:

Here's a question I have:
Why does the Singapore National Library have a copy?
Answer:
Because the book is that damn awesome.

It's true, the book is awesome. I'm trying to revive the ancient art of arcade gaming here. When I checked out the book at the library, I got comments from other people in line who didn't even know there was such a thing as building your own arcade! So far there are two other Singapore boardmembers I'm aware of.  There's plenty of candycabs here but no (not one) classic cab to be found  ???
