Hi, Most Dell's I know need the CD drive to be setup as Cable Select, not master or slave. I encountered this problem a few weeks ago and googling solved my problem. Could this be the issue? Does the bios detect the CD drive? If it does then it is probably not Cable Select that is the problem. Cheers Muz |

I don't have the means to try out your boot disk, I had to stick with what I know works, thus my comments. There are lots of options out there. |
