IPAC double press problems???
« on: March 15, 2002, 10:51:02 am »
Firstly, dont' get me wrong, I love my IPAC, but may have found a limitation with this system.

Maybe some of you IPACers who have had the system for a while can answer this question.

Can you press two buttons at once on each player's side?

i.e.
- Toobin, the spin in a spot maneuver, pressing paddle back right, and paddle left forward simultaneously allows you to spin in one spot.

- 1943, fire and super zapper, allows you to Loop

- Marvel VS Capcom, Fierce Punch and Fierce Kick together to tag out a partner.

Thanks for the help gang.

Just toobin I can;t hit the two buttons at the same time, might be a toobin driver issue...

Not a IPAC issue: I get the same with my hotrod and my keyboard.  But are you sure you press at the same time at the arcades?  IIRC, I had the same problem on the real machine.

OK.. narrowing this down a bit more.. My 1943 does indeed allow me to Loop.. and Sirpoonga verified that the Marvel vs Capcom does allow tag outs...

My Buddy who played Toobin and is considered a major playa said it defintiely was ok on the KB, but it does not work on the machine...

C'mon guys... want to help me verify this?

Load up Toobin, and try the double press spin in one spot move.  Let's see if Everyone's IPAC does this.

Thanx!

Never played toobin.  Be more specific on what to do and I'll give it a shot.
