Wells GArdener 19" on-sale?
venkman:
well, i'm new to this (my last post was more of a question than a fact) but i'm pretty sure the power goes in there too.
it comes out the power supply and then into the jamma connector, then out the other side and up into the monitor - along with the video colours and presumably a ground wire.
can anyone confirm that?

The U3100 and U3000 moniotrs both use a standard "pronged" AC power connector. They connect to the monitor PCB through a standard 3 pin connector. Got a pdf manual somewhere from mine will see if I can find it.
IG-88:
Can those (power plugs) be flipped around and put in "backwards" there-by blowing up the monitor and the cab and then setting fire to the game room causing all kinds of embarrassment?
venkman:
haha i don't know! ::)
probably ... :timebomb:
CheffoJeffo:
It's just a VGA monitor, so I'm not sure what advantage you're going to gain over a 21" SVGA monitor.
The connector questions are answered in the spec sheet or manual -- power is a keyed connector.

is that right?

Nope -- there isn't a "standard" for JAMMA connections to the monitor, other than that there are R,G,B, Ground, and Composite Negative Sync connections -- different monitors can have different connectors and pinouts.
