XBCD vs MAME not working
« on: December 06, 2007, 04:47:25 pm »
Hi,
I am having a problem getting my classic Xbox controller working via XBCD. MaLa maps and recognises everything fine, but as soon as I fire up mame (0121b) I get nothing. I hit tab to set up, but it doesn't seem to register any keystrokes. Any ideas what might be causing this? I tried googling but got nothing about the old XB controller, just problems with the new ones.

Any help will be apprciated!

Did you enable joysticks in mame?  Not sure how to do this through MaLa, but "joystick 1" in mame.ini, or -joystick at commandline, will enable in mame from commandline.
