I enabled the joysticks in mame.ini and I still cant get them to work and i cant get them to even scroll through my games list in mamewah

Please don't try and get anything working past the test...  Why worry about mame and mamewah when windows can't read them... confuses the issue...

Anyway, have you tried to run the ultramap?  sounds like it might have some corrupt defaults..
mrclean:
I fixed the issue by physically rotating the board on the ultimarc unit.. Now I'm thinking about ditching mamewah and going with mala.. but boy do I not want to reconfig all this stuff again, but aparently thats they only way that it will "automatically" map my stuff from that front end

To be honest, Mala seems to be far easier, yet far more powerful - you'll be glad you did in the end.

I'm gonna be ordering some Ultimarc 360s soon and I have been reading that MaLa is the best frontend for these sticks. But I too have been so used to MameWah and put so much time into making my frontend sceeen. How easy is it to copy that over? I don't wanna lose all the work I put into that menu screen.... it took me bloody ages.  :P
