The wait for a job is (potentially) over - thank God
Thenasty:
Good things happens to those who wait.......Oh, wait a minute, you weren't waiting..... :banghead:
Great things happens to those who have alot of patience.....Ah~ thats more like it..... ;D
You got 10 months for Playing, watching, building.....so your cab should be all FINISH :applaud:
***Congrats on your new job*** Don't pass that student cause he is a BYOAC member or a MAMER :P
shardian:
Congrats on the job!
For some reason, I thought I remembered a thread where you got a music teaching job this past summer though. What happened to that?

Serious, heartfelt congrats on the job. Few things are harder than the impotence of long term unemployment while your family's home is on the line.
One comment: God didn't provide that money. You provided that money when you put it into those 401ks. You made the active decision to save and when you needed it the money was there. Thank yourself. Don't short yourself the credit for that. Don't feel bad about it either. When I was unemployed a few years ago we zeroed out our retirement accounts (which wasn't all that much for us either) because we needed the money.

I commend you that you were able to stay jobless for so long. I quit my job on Tuesday and asked for my job back on Thursday (I'm a wuss). I only had to spend one day at home to go stir crazy.
Congrats on finding a job. It's not as easy as you think.
shmokes:
Yeah . . . I'm with Chad. If you're not going to give god credit for putting you in the ---smurfy--- position to begin with, I don't know why you'd give her credit for the money to get out of it (unless that money came from an unexpected inheritance or some other windfall).
It's good to hear that things are looking up for you, though. The "potentially" in the title sucks. Hopefully that doesn't mean anything.
