The wait for a job is (potentially) over - thank God

Shmokes, that's just my own pessimistic attitude showing through.  Don't sweat it too much.  I hate science....but I'm mentally preparing myself for this change.  The school and I agreed to do this on an interim basis until everyone was comfortable with it (including me - in other words, if I just hate it I don't HAVE to stay with it).  I know it's goofy to say so, but I'm really glad things are like that at the beginning.  That said, you have to know I'm going to be pouring my heart and soul in to being the best science teacher they've ever seen.

Sharidan, I don't recall exactly which position you're referring to...I have been trying to start my own piano teaching business, and am still pursuing that.  I only have one student, however, for the time being so that has not been very profitable.   Anything else, whatever it was, was given to someone else.

Chad, Shmokes,   I do see your point about the finances.  For what it's worth, I'll likewise say yes, God did put me in this place. I won't go into anymore detail here, that's a discussion best served for PnR, in my opinion.  Just understand that I do see your points and do agree with them to a point.

I'm just glad we had the money.  While I'm at it, I continue to pursue my dream of music teacher;  I am 6 points away from being certified in the state of Georgia to teach music.  Will have to retake part one of the test, may do so in January, and then hopefully I will be fully certified in the field.  There is no limit as to how many times I can take it, so obviously I'll take it til I pass it....I just hope it'll be done soon!  :D

Yes, it most certainly will, seeing as how I'll be teaching evolution in a Christian school.

Chad, just for the record, once again you're trying to make too much out of my comment, I think. ...maybe not....but it bears an explanation.  When I say I hate science,  I mean I've hated taking the classes ever since I've been in school.  I just find the study of it to  be boring as hell.

The application of it?  The hands on stuff? Believe it or not, I actually like that part and so that's a different deal all together, and I hope I can do a good enough job there to encourage the next possible great scientific mind to continue on, no matter how many boring lectures must come before they get to mess with test tubes, etc.

As far as Moonlight Sonata goes, I'll think on it - too tired to be of much help now.

ChadTower:

I took high school science classes at a Catholic high school.  Looking back it's bemusing to think of all of the common topics they specifically avoided and the ones where they limited what they covered to what could be spun how they wanted it.  I wonder if they'll make RTS do that.
