I don't think the FAQ has been updated for quite some time.  It also makes references to "Us vs. THEM" and M.A.C.H. 3" which work fine in DAPHNE.  The Wiki is probably more up to date and the forums there as well as the chat room are great resources for updated info.

However, if people are going to go there, start off with "I downloaded a torrent of <insert game> and it doesn't work" and expect to be well treated, they'll be in for a rude awakening.  The team there (and rightfully so) have no love for intellectual property theft (most of those guys and myself included, spent a lot of money on the original laserdiscs, or bought the Digital Leisure DVDs).

You think?

I'm waiting for them to get Super Don Quixote to work with my LDP, so if they are testing their compatibility against a previous version this would crop up.

Ask them for a copy of the stats from Daphne's survey and see how many proper laserdisc games are being used with the said emulator.

Considering how many copies of Esh laserdiscs is available to purchase, and see how many people use Esh Mpegs via that survey, it becomes more apparent the software is used more for mpegs, than it was originally created for.

With regards for Torrent downloading of Abandonware as Matt like to put it, you would get a slap on the wrist for making that comment, but mention a rip of Bluth and you will get the wrath.  Beware.  :laugh2:
