DUDE! get two car 6x9"s, a 300watt car amp with a built in equalizer, and a separate PC power system to feed the juice, and party on. Don't forget the EMF stuff though( it can mess with your monitor).

If your going to make a cab, "make it rock!"  :hissy:

I agree for that price bag a cheap car amp and some used car speakers.

I was looking at these http://www.qualitycaraudio.com/store/viewItem.asp?idProduct=17198

But I have a major concern. I will be using an arade monitor and these are car speakers which are not sheilded. How can I shield them properly so they dont interfere with computer and monitor??
metahacker:
check out boat speakers.  there are a number of choices.  price might be $70+ tho.  they are made to avoid messing with instrumentation.

klipsch 2.1 promedia, logitech z2300 / 2200 are nice computer speakers.   u can find the klipsch cheap on ebay refurb.

also if u want to shield regular speakers .. u just have to use bucking magnets ... u get the right size ones and glue/clamp them onto the regular magnets faced so they're repelling.  that's what oem arcade speakers usually do.
