Donkey Kong TKG3 US Cocktail model
mempersman:
HI. I'm desperately seeking a schematic for an old Donkey Kong TKG3 US cocktail model. It is an early version and is different than the TKG4 model. I'm also seeking some advice too. Being an old TV repairman , I know that I have high voltage but no raster sound or video. When I cut the power, I can see a shrinking raster but there is no data there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!! Thanks Ron

Ron -
You're in luck. About 8 months ago my wife came home from work with an old arcade manual. Someone she works with used to have this arcade cabinet, but sold it long ago. He knew I was "into" this kind of stuff. Well, I shoved it in my computer cabinet and there it has sat, until your post..... :)
The Good News: It is a Donkey Kong TKG3-TBL manual. I'd be happy to scan each page (24) for you to .PDF and send it to you.
The "Bad" News: I can't get to it tonight. Maybe tomorrow or tomorrow night. If it's not huge, I'll post it here so anyone can have it. If it is too big, I'll PM you so we can figure out how to get it to you.
Here's the one page schematic from the manual....I've attached it and named it with a ".png" extension, just download it and rename it to ".pdf" to view it.
Let me know if you want the whole manual....
BTW, I can't help with any technical advice, sorry.

Glad I could help out...one man's trash....
This helps me explain why I have so much crap lying around..... ::)
Please post back if you want the whole manual. I may PM Saint or PJ to see if they want to host the entire document somewhere here...
Might be a good addition to the site....Manuals that is....
Game On!

To JLR 2000 Thanks.. you really helped me even with just the diagram you sent. I was able to start somewhere and did a diagnostic on the power supply feeds and found them all to be exactly what the schematic showed, thereby eliminating the whole overly-complex power supply. If there is any electronic or diagnostic value to the rest of the manual, I can use it to further diagnose my game's death. If you ever need auto diagnostic information or advice, I'll be glad to return the favor someday. With many Thanks again, Ron Silver Springs, Nevada
