Bartman:

on a related note, if you go with polycarb, how do you trim it?  Do you use a flush trimming router bit or more like a sharp hobby knife?

bfauska:

I think they were talking about the polycarbonate finish option on MAMEmarquees prints.

If I'm wrong (likely enough that I'll answer the question both ways) you can cut and trim polycarbonate basically the same way you would plexi.  Routers are my tool of choice for this.

Are you referring to the "Tough Tear resistant Polybanner" that mamemarquees sells?

Also, if I get the polycarbinate laminate and cover it with Lexan will it still look good? It doesn't appear there is a price difference, so should I just get the polycarbinate laminate and then I'll have the choice of either covering it with Lexan or not? I really wanted to cover it with Lexan, as the pics of CP's I see on this site makes it (the CP) look better.

crummy:

After doing some google searches, isn't polycarbinate laminate lexan?

I've been wondering the same thing you have, lakersfan, and decided just to order anyway and see how it goes - decide whether I want lexan after getting the CPO in my hands.

Lakersfan:

Sweet! Let me know what ya get...
