Control Panel Overlay question
Lakersfan:
I am going to order a CPO from mamemarquees but had a quick question before I placed my order... Since I will have Lexan on top of the overlay, do I need an adhesive backed CPO? I would think it wouldn't be necessary, but then again, this is my first cab.
Thanks gang.

You don't have to, you can just get a glossy print. I prefer the polycarbonite and no lexan.

I dont' know much about polycarb - I take it that it'll hold up to scratches and dings and such? Do they print on the backside of the polycarb?

They can do it, but they'll need to use a transparent film on which they print the mirrored image.
However, with this technique, you end up with no whites (which is transparent). So the plexi
must be over a white uniform surface...
