Ok, got my Shadow Force review up: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=73712.msg761574#msg761574 And thanks for your inputs... the list groweth: Arcade: Spider-Man X-Men (4 players) Captain America and the Avengers The Punisher (haven't tried this w/ him yet, waiting a bit) Superman Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles -- whoops, left this one off the list, yeah we play that too Simpsons Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon -- hey, I forgot about this one! Cool. Wild West C.O.W.Boys of Moo Mesa -- Awesome, not comic book but feels like one X-men vs Street Fighter -- agreed, a good game, but not coop to my knowledge Warriors of Fate -- not comic book, but we like this one Eight Man -- cool, very cartoony, superhero feel Sunset Riders Hook -- good catch J.J Squakers Willow Ninja Clown -- clowns are scary. nah. Ninja Baseball Batman -- Good find! But my son may wonder why Batman is wearing a baseball helmet :) Narc Battle Toads Caveman Ninja/Joe and Mac Toki Bucky O"Hare G.I. Joe Ghostbusters -- really? never really gave this one much time in the arcades, the Commodore 64 version was cooler IMHO Altered Beast Michael jackson's Moonwalker Mazinger Z -- tried this one already, was more of a shmup (but a good one). ... hehe, I remember these guys as "Shogun Warriors", even had a few myself. Pulirula Cadillacs and Dinosaurs Asterix Genesis: Adventures of Batman and Robin Spider-Man Maximum Carnage -- not 2 player SNES: Adventures of Batman and Robin -- not 2 player, only Gen version is (weird) Spider-Man Maximum Carnage -- not 2 player Spider-Man / Venom Separation Anxiety PC X-men Legends -- doesn't exist X-men Legends II -- will try this one... not sure how it can be 2-player at the same PC though. Marvel: Ultimate Alliance -- have to get this one eventually |

nobody said Bucky O'hare. Shame on you guys. |

If you want a great two-player coop "cartoony-shmup" to add to your list, try: Space Invaders '95 It is a cack :laugh2: (that is Aussie for hilariously good fun, as in "you cack yourself laughing") Little kids love it because it is very colourful, has good music and it moves through different levels very quickly. You can get through the entire game in about 1/2 hour or so. |

Finally tried Sp Invaders 95... you were right, it was much fun It did keep us entertained but I think my 4 yr old lost interest after 20 minutes (and I don't think we were 2/3 of the way through). I liked the graphics a lot... if there was an update like this for Missile Command I might not have bought the CD version (see my Revew) |
| Zebidee:
Don't worry Vid, you were doing well to get a 4yo focused on any one thing for 20 minutes! |
