ASUS K7V-T mb help?
_Iz-:
Maybe you have a flaky pci card. Remove all non-essentials and try again. If it works, shutdown and add 1 card back in. Try again. If it's OK, repeat (1 card at a time) until either all cards are installed or the computer flakes out. If it flakes out, the last card installed is the culprit.
Also be aware that some cards don't like sharing IRQ's. Several of the slots on your mobo *permanently* share IRQ's and there's not a darn thing you can do about it except to find the slots that don't share and use them. Generally, the slot closest to the AGP shares with the AGP. There is another slot that shares with the USB, and possibly one sharing with onboard sound (if applicable).
