Capcom to revive their Arcade Operations
Teebor:
I thought this was quite interesting in a "new arcade" kind of way

Could be interesting if they have decent stuff in them
shardian:
Not really that interesting. They are referring to Japan arcade business - not the US.

Well I thought it was interesting. Perhaps if they can revive interest overseas, it will make it's way here. Surely it can't hurt.
TOK:
I don't think you can compare interest in Japan to here. The arcade scene in Japan never went away.
Not sure what Capcom's deal was, but if you search Japanese Arcades on google, you'll see the current scene there is still amazing. Almost 10,000 operating arcades, including a 9 story one operated by Sega.
shardian:
Arcades have tried what works in Japan, that is why my local mall arcade has twenty bajillion showcase cabinets playing 2d fighting games. Noone even gives a crap anymore.
