That's a bit unnerving.. --- End quote --- I would assume a standard "upright", as opposed to a "cocktail", "cabaret", or whatever the hell that Namco building is. They should have replicated an actual arcade machine like they did with the NES controllers, rather than just a generic one. A giant Defender would have been cool. Those "buttons" they are using are similar to the big blue KO punch button on a Punch-Out machine; but even bigger (2 ½" diameter vs. 1 ½" diameter). Speaking of Punch-Out, that would have been even better to replicate on a giant scale. It would have given them an excuse to use two of those giant monitors for an extra 5 feet or so, plus they could have used an extra huge button for the KO button. |
