I kinda want to avoid craigslist if possible (mostly cause of idiots, mostly) but ill put something on freecycle.  (just posted on my group) It doesnt help when everyone thinks they are worth over 50 or 60 dollars.

Im sure im not going to get lucky with a yard sale as most people just have really cool action figures and all the video game stuff goes in a flash.

It does go fast, that's why you should be there at the posted starting time.

I'll put it this way... if you're looking for old console stuff and you can't find a Genesis you're going about it all wrong.  The Genesis is by far the easiest system to find and the one with the lowest monetary value.

I see several Sega Genesis units every time I make the trek to the flea market.

Aw, shucks  :D

I don't miss any of it.  I still have about 500+ different Genesis carts, though.  I could probably get rid of all but 10 +/- 5 of those and still be happy.

Well ive only gone twice to group yardsales and once to a single one.  the single one had just the toys and the other two were much better.  one was a town wide one and i found someone selling a bust a move for 200 dollars that i didnt get and someone else had a dreamcast for about 15 bucks (already had one though for a dc based cab i should have gotten it).  the third was just a newspaper ad that had a bunch of sales listed on the same day kinda of all over the place and none of them gave a good list of what they had for sale.  i did get to one of them early but like i said either they didnt have what i wanted or it was gone before then.  i havent seen a sale in a while though so maybe i can check a electronic repair shop that ive seen an nes in the window (maybe they have more then that)

im going to redouble my efforts.
