problem with Gamepads & Mamewah
ideft:
ok here is the problem, I have got a GP-Wiz for the interface for my control panel, I also have two Xbox controllers hooked up for computer/console games. My problem is that when they are all plugged and I boot my computer they all seem to fail. If I boot with just the GP-wiz plugged in and plug the controllers in once everything is running, everything works great. When I reboot with all plugged in nothing works, I even exit out of mamewah to windows and my "joytokey buttons" do not work at that level, however it shows all devices are "OK". Anyone else ever run into problems with multiple Gamepads or anyone got any suggestion??

Just moving this tread up to the top again to get seen by some fresh eyes. An update as well, downloaded a joyid program moved some id's around but alas the problem persists. I also shut off the power saving option to the usb root hubs. When all are plugged in and I reboot nothing works in mamewah, but in windows my second Xbox controller "gets the focus" of Joytokey and my buttons that I mapped work(which is not my ideal setup). Any suggestions???
Also is there any way to delay usb ports from working. My thought in this is that if I somehow delay the two controllers until mamewah is loaded then enabling them it would (maybe) work.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, as I am sick of being a "switchboard operator" for a game of Mike Tyson's Punch out ;D

Try xpadder it might solve the problems you are having with joytokey.

My main problem is with getting these things to work in Mamewah after a reboot. I just use Joytokey for mouse clicks when I am in windows.

ok I have search everywhere for this.. i saw at the mamewah forums some people having a similar issue. ok..this is what I have got: the "focus" moves to one of the controllers instead of keeping it one the GP-wiz. It shows this issue in mamewah and joytokey. So it leads me to believe that is must be a windows issue. But then I tried Mala and it seems to work as it is suppose to. So I am at a loss of what to do next. Any input on this would GREATLY appreciated!!!
