More important than the type of bit you use is making sure that you are not drilling the hole at an angle. I don't know how many times I've seen a "defective button" that suddenly worked when you let up some pressure on the keeper nut. |

I used a spade bit and the point on the spade bit allows you to line up the button exactly. |

I purchased my push buttons from ultimarc. Anyone know the specs on these as far as proper spacing and spade-bit size for drilling? Thanks! |
