| FS: Sega·Namco·Nintendo TRIFORCE Motherboard on Ebay |
| (1/2) > >> |
| Akuma:
Hello everyone. Since I really need some money right now  , I have to sell one of the two TRIFORCE Motherboards on ebay. I recently acquired them there from a guy who told me that his brother works for a nationwide arcade company which stored them but didn't need them anymore. The ebay item number is 110186971253 Therefore the link should be: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110186971253 You might not be able to view the item yet, because the auction will start on Nov-01-07 10:30:00 PDT. It will run for 10 days. Now, if someone really wants it - contact me! For fellow BYOAC members, I might end the auction in advance if we can negotiate a satisfying price (I am thinking about something around Euro 400,-) |

What is it? |
| Akuma:
A collectors item, which is very rare until now since the prices for it are usually not in end user regions. This is the main unit of a cabinet running triforce games. Think of it as an atomiswave or a naomi motherboard. It's not Jamma but JVS (like the Naomi) and connects direct to a VGA monitor in contrast to 15khz monitor) - you might use the naomi jvs2jamme converter though. So with some stuff like a jamma2jvs converter, power supply, some tinker and handiecraft etc. you can make triforce games run at home (google keyword: consolize) some details: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triforce_%28arcade_system_board%29 http://www.system16.com/hardware.php?id=728 http://www.system16.com/hardware.php?id=545 |

auction has been removed ?? |

Triforce was a joint venture between Sega and Nintendo. Its like a gamecube on steroids with a JVS interface that is similar to NAOMI in that it uses GDROM discs |
