Modular Control panel latch

I have been doing some research to start converting my control panel to a modular design. I have seen Doc's modular panel and I like it. I have read that some people like to add another way to secure it in the vertical plane just to be safe. I tend to be pretty aggressive so I was thinking I would want it to be more secure. I was wondering has anyone tried to use those child proof locks that are magnetic? Are they tight latching to ensure no play? Are they strong enough et etc. I was thinking I would mount a latch under every dowel that is in the panel.
Thanks
Nuss

Yes
Not really if you want it to latch/unlatch without having to bend the CP (it needs to swing freely, but 1/32" is enough IIRC)
Yes (with one of these + guides I can lift my box CP by either joystick without the bottom falling off)
edit: I used these "Magnetic Tot Loks".

Oh wow, I didn't even know those things existed. And here I was trying to figure out how I could do the same thing from scratch.

Yeah, I'm also aggressive and I lock my modular panels down w/ screws. I knew that if they felt even remotely like they might give or something and get loose it would alter my playing. I have absolutely *zero* issues with aggressive play and I'm probably the sloppiest Robotron player out there. :)
Good luck with your project! If you are looking for a different approach I've documented how I did mine (see signature).
