I've been sitting here reading this in stunned silence since it started, and have just fallen out of my chair laughing harder than I can ever remember laughing before. I think the risk of injury caused by this post entitles, no DEMANDS that I weigh in.

A lot of people have run businesses, some incorporated and many not. I've run a business myself. If Christian ran Slickstick, then Christian = Slikstik. Play semantic games all you want, nothing will ever change that.

Christian will ship product to people Christian wants to ship product to. Nobody or nothing in this thread has any bearing on that. If Fozzy's (well deserved) cynicism supposedly results in Christian defrauding a customer, that's Christian's decision, and his alone. In fact I'd say that if he WERE likely to punish a customer for something someone else said in this thread or elsewhere, it would tend to validate most everything Fozzy and others have been saying about him and his company.

As a relative newcomer to this hobby who has no space for woodworking, I have been saving up to buy a cabinet from Mameroom. But after reading Scott's posts in this thread not just defending Christian personally, but also his reasoning that somehow just because filed paperwork to form Slikstik as an LLC he should somehow be exempt from any responsibility for his actions under that company's name...well, let's just say that I'm putting my purchase plans on hold indefinitely.

Scott, I THINK I understand what you were trying to do, but I have to say that I think you went about it the wrong way. Your strident defense of unethical behavior, and your willingness to rehabilitate Christian's image by acting as a front for his product sales really does have me (and apparently others) questioning your motives here.

But these are just my opinions, and worth exactly what you've paid for them, though.

CheffoJeffo...mind if I pull up a chair and watch with you? I'll bring some more ice and my own beverage...

tomorrow - 8 letters
the day after today - 16 letters

hmm...  Funny thing is that my 7 year old asked me how tomorrow is shorter than 'the day after today'.   ;D

I would hope that he was being facetious when he posted that. In any event, it was pretty damn funny.
