I'll be contacting my bank tomorrow to have the charge reversed.  As everyone pretty much predicted, my last e-mail went unanswered and my patience is exhausted.

In the future, I'll definitely be looking here on BYOAC to find someone to do the work for me that can stick to some sort of time frame.

Just email them with the words "FULL REFUND" in the subject line.  They will respond and when they do, ask for a hard, no ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- date when they will ship with a tracking #.  Tell them you want a full refund on that date (if you agree to the date) if your product doesn't ship.  If they don't ship, ask for a refund from your bank. Tell SS you are going to do this.  This is the only way I got my setup, of course my bank still ended up reversing the charges and now SS has to fight my bank for their money.  Not really my problem at this point as I forwarded all the details to my bank and explained that they did ship my product months late.  They just chose to fight them themselves.

At the end of the day, I really do like the panel, but the customer service sure did blow.

This is really shocking.

Usually I heard that people would EVENTUALLY get their product.    But to not answer the forum or people's calls/pleas  is incredible.

Perhaps they are going down, so sad.

Kevin Steele did so much for them with the video reviews, and to many of us, Slikstik was the premiere choice for arcade goodness.

I myself am very proud of my Slikstik and will probably forever rob the design if I ever make something similar.   

Oh well, there is an end to everything, and they had a good run.   But like alot of people on here have said, there is no excuse for bad service.    The last order I got, the tone was very different then my past experience.    I was thinking...Dude do you not remember the many conversations we had?   To skirt around on a 20 dollar order is insane.    I got it, but only after at least a dozen followups.    They made good and gave me something, but in the end, I felt defeated and mad.   It wasn't worth it and my next order went directly to ebay.   No hassle and I got what I wanted.

Looks like they are starting to stiff people on ebay too. I just looked at their feedback and the last feedback is negative. The purchaser never received his order. I guess someone could check the court filings for NJ and see if they applied for bankruptcy. At least someone then might be able to go in and purchase their inventory or machinery they use at auction.

I found this article.   Weird to read Slikstik and bankruptcy in the same set of paragraphs.   Damn this would be messed up.
