Slik Stik - Any Word

I dunno if it is -exactly- the same.

FWIW, I was a senior employee at a company that went under and definitely feel some empathy for folks in that position. The numbers from that disaster were much bigger than we're talking about with SlikStik. I personally took a massive financial loss and we had to work very hard to eliminate losses for employees and customers. My former boss (sole owner of the company) took a lot of heat in the industry about that and suffered a bad reputation for years. However, in the same way that Scott believes in Xtian, someone believed in him and he managed to recover. I'm proud to call him my business partner.

I have complete and total respect for Scott's position.

In my mind, however, this is a somewhat different situation since the problem has been ongoing and didn't simply begin with the onset of the publicly obvious financial problems. Couple that with Xtian's public tirades about the problem, and you can see why folks are skeptical of Xtian and his motives.

I don't think that people HOPE that there has been fraud, but it does seem to be that there have been misrepresentations along the way. There may well be another side to this, but it definitely doesn't look good that the same excuses have been used for years and some of them have apparently been refuted by the suppliers in question.

I also don't think that the 'record' is broken, it's just than SlikStik/Xtian hasn't yet been fixed.

When that happens, then the objections will die down. I think that we'd all like to see that happen.

Magic, I sent you an email about the overlay corner.  That is NOT "typical" as Fozzy wrote above.

Yes,  I agree 100%.  And that is what I would like to see.  My initial point was to let that happen and not to try to derail it by personal attacks.  No praise, no applause, no brownie points...just see where it leads...as there really is nothing to lose.

I'm afraid I have to agree with Scott.  I think some are taking this waaaay too personally, and I'm speaking as a guy who currently is out $1400 worth of product from SlikStik.  There is stating your point of dissatisfaction, and then there is being vicious, and I'm afraid many of these posts have just become vicious and have therefore lost some of their credibility.  Seriously, many of the posts on here sound as though the poster would stab Christian in the throat if they passed him on the street.  You know what folks, its just money.  You'll probably be able to make more.   Do I think a warning needs to be sent out to those in the community? Absolutely.  Am I doing all I can to try and get my money or panel? Absolutely.  If I can't get either my money or panel, do I want to see them punished? Absolutely.  As you can see from my prior posts I have filed with the Attorneys General in Kansas and New Jersey, have filed with Ms. Nicollete and am considering small claims relief (although I know this will be fruitless).  Honestly, some of the posts almost make me feel sorry for Christian.

Anyway, that is my $0.02, knowing full well it ain't worth that much.  ;D
