Ouch! Gotta hate those beef injections! I'm curious if anybody has been totally screwed by Slikstik and never received the product that they paid for. Delays and credit card payment cancellations do not count. |

One would think that if it were only trackballs that were holding up a panel, you'd get the rest of the panel complete, set it aside and wait for the next shipment from Happ. (Or order from Divemaster or Ponyboy who seemed to not be affected by the 'shortage'.) Then when the balls came in, slap them in (we all know how long it takes to connect up a trackball), package everything up, and ship them on their merry way. Another thing might be to not accept new orders if you are that far behind. Be upfront with your customers and they tend to be happier and more understanding. |

Yeah, sounds like the trackball issue was "caca" after all. Even if they did have an actual shortage, couldn't they have been upfront and let the customers know about the shortage and ask them if they wanted a substitute such as a Groovy Game Gear Trackball instead of the Happ? Either way, the real reason their are delays (assuming you ordered and overlay) is because they have officially discontinued the overlays on their control panels. Exact quote from an e-mail, "... we currently discontinued them do to printer problems". (I had inquired about pricing) And I checked their website, they still have the option of adding the overlay option onto your control panel! They have not removed it. So basically, you can still order it with the automated process and then... you guessed it, delays. :banghead: My opinion: If they just hired ONE person who was dedicated solely to customer service and was able to at the minimum answer all e-mails, it would make a HUGE difference. The main reason that swayed me to switch to Arcades R Fun for example is not only the quality and better price, but most importantly customer service and support. You just feel right when Jack answers your e-mails. You feel that you are getting an honest opinion and that he's not in it for the money. Feels different with SlikStik... a shame. :dunno |

I agree with you there.. I ordered mine with an overlay. So I called me credit card company today and ask if there was anything I can do.. they said that it was after there 115 day policy, So I missed getting it reversed by 2 days.. So I guess I will continue email bombing them till i get an answer... Chris |

I'm very sorry that you guys who ordered from him are getting burnt like this, but to be honest, he's been at this game for the last few years. His customer service stinks. The number of complaints about him has always been huge. This forum is absolutely full of tales like this and STILL you guys keep giving him money.
