| Mameroom:
I apologize that I have not chimed in since my original post regarding the Mameroom/SlikStik negotiations. There were a lot of details that were being discussed between companies, and still are. It is true that Mameroom Designs will not be acquiring SlikStik to the extent originally planned but we have alternatively been working out the details to manufacture and sell SlikStik parts and control panels. With all of the details close to being ironed out I wanted to shed some light on the ongoing SlikStik issues, Christian's involvement with SlikStik and pending orders that have not been filled yet... First, I think the people of this forum should know...at no point in time was Christian ever an owner or part owner of SlikStik LLC. While Christian has been the front man for SlikStik since they opened their doors and may have even made comment over the years about being more involved with the company, he was merely an employee of SlikStik and received a pay check just like other SlikStik employees. I know this because during our negotiations, Christian had no ownership to sell the SlikStik brand name, trademark and rights to us. While Christian remained a part of the company for awhile during this situation, he is no longer associated with SlikStik. He himself is trying to acquire the SlikStik product line to start up his own arcade product company, since most of the SlikStik designs were his creations to begin with. I can now say that the reason that the majority of everyone's emails and phone calls to SlikStik have gone unanswered, is that Christian is either no longer receiving them, or is no longer in a position to do anything regarding SlikStik or their current customers/situation. Regarding everyone's money currently tied up with SlikStik...While I do not know the fate of what remains of SlikStik LLC, I do know that Christian is no longer employed at the company. With Christian and the other employees either quitting or being laid off, Christian himself has expressed that anyone not in receipt of their order, do what they can to try and get a refund from their Credit Card companies. Christian wanted me to relay to all of the customers contacting Mameroom, that he has full intentions of honoring every one of SlikStik customer's that are unable to get a refund. This basically means that any SlikStik customer that has been caught up in this issue and that has filed for a refund with their CC company, and are unable to get the refund due to an expiration of the time limit to do so, he will fulfill their order out of his pocket once his new business and shop are up and running (date for this is unknown at this time). keep in mind that SlikStik LLC has everyone's money, not Christian. Obviously, Chris does not want to have the negative image bestowed upon him, following him around when he starts his own company (with him as the official owner). There has been so much talk about Christian and people pursuing him directly...and unfortunately, I was not able to share information with this forum at the time... But if people want retribution or any kind of positive outcome for themselves, they should go after the source (where their money is) and that is the SlikStik LLC... not an ex-employee. I don’t think much will come of it going after Chris personally. I'm telling everyone this because I would just hate to see customers end up with nothing...and If Christian holds true to his offer to honor another companies obligations, I would also hate to see anything derail that or change his mind. After all, it was primarily this forum's response to the SlikStik issues that derailed Mameroom acquiring SlikStik..and fulfilling previous orders. Rightfully so, irate customers posted warnings and their experiences with SlikStik...which drove SlikStik sales down, which didn't make the company look so appealing from a business aspect...plus the talk of lawsuits and the Chamber of commerce. We no longer could stick to our original intent. I don't want to see that happen again. While I am in no way, shape, or form condoning what has happened or what is going on...I would like to offer merely a suggestion that may benefit everyone...Try to get your money back and replace your order through Mameroom. If you are unable to get your money back...why not give Christian and his new company he will be starting up a chance to make good on what he said he would. If it doesn't pan out the way he said (within a reasonable time frame), then continue on with the same course of action, as the situation could not get worse by waiting another month or two...again, right now there is still hope for everyone to get what they paid for...I would hate to see this opportunity ruined. So officially, Mameroom is not able to step up and take over for SlikStik or to acquire any part of the company due to the current circumstances. Instead, we are reselling control panel designs and parts originally manufactured for SlikStik. Mameroom Designs will gladly fill your orders if you choose to place them with us. Since we added these items to our product line only a couple weeks ago, Several customers have already received and are enjoying their new panels. -Mameroom Designs |

As people have pointed out, Christian is a very smooth talker. I hope, Scott, you don't take everything Christian is selling you (about his honoring sales with his new company) at face value. He has intentionally misled a lot of people for a long time, as this thread has shown. Even as "just an employee" he should carry much of the bad press with him to his new startup. |

Even if Christian was only an employee of SlikStik, he should have had a spine and told customers the truth. Please be sure to let us all know what his new company is so that we can warn others about him. |

Mameroom/Scott, Do yourself a favor and just walk away. The only thing you will get out of this deal is the name Slikstik to put on your products. That, IMO, is not a good idea in this small knit hobby. They do not own patents on a spinner, a joystick, a control panel, or anything. They own the rights to their name(s), that is all. At this point, you are not doing yourself or anyone favors by only doing business "with the bad guys". And no, you really shouldn't believe a damn word Christian says. Allow me to interperet his comments: --- Quote ---.Try to get your money back and replace your order through Mameroom. If you are unable to get your money back...why not give Christian and his new company he will be starting up a chance to make good on what he said he would. I'm hoping you people are stupid enough to fall for it, that way we can string you along even longer. Obviously noone would actually buy from a company from me. None of the business partners in the field would cooperate with me for advertising and such after we at Slikstik screwed them all with non-payments. Of course I'm not actually starting a new company. So please, call off the hounds. I'll "take care" of all of you, for I am a nice and humble man who feels your pain. |

Christian. This guy is going to build and send me the control panel I ordered nearly 7 months ago? Excuse me.... :laugh2: Yup--sorry Christian. You might have been an employee, and this might spare you of the financial situation of the company (and it might not), but you still knowingly participated in fraud, and I will gladly spend whatever it takes to show up in a courtroom in New Jersey and swear to the lies--absolute lies--YOU told me. C'mon... watch the news. You don't have to own the company to break a law associated with the business. As for any action taken, it will be filed against Slikstik. The attorneys will hash out the liability. Boy... if Christian isn't the owner, he's in for a world of hurt. At no time has anyone pointed the finger at anyone else, and everyone's beef here is with Christian. If I was the owner of Slikstik (Jerome Mascari?) I'd be filing a suit against Christian. Heck, I'd be jumping out of the bushes kissing babies, contributing to world peace and giving away free joysticks all the while screaming, "I had no idea he was sticking it to me, too! Let's get him, guys!!" Christian will be in the middle of so many civil and potentially criminal suits he won't know which way to turn. --- Quote from: shardian on December 20, 2007, 02:58:55 pm --- Interpretation: This is a lame ass attempt to derail the current legal investigation.
