Gazpacho:
Has anybody tried any of the phone numbers provided above yet?
I'd be particularly curious which ones work and which don't.
I'd also be curious as to the reactions these people have to
being contacted at home.  :-)

"Hello,

My name is Joe Blow,  I work for a local newspaper called the Arcade Times that is doing a story on arcade scams on the internet.  We've been keeping track of your company and are in the process of writing an all inclusive article on your business practices and before we go to press we were wondering if you had any comment?"

Well done Ken,
It's nice to see somebody got their money back out of him, especially as it was that much. Even if it did take a threat of reporting it as a serious crime, to get it. It's nice to see at least one happy ending, even if it wasn't one actually created by SickSlick doing the right thing.

Best Regards,

I have never figured out how they didn't make money?? Their cabs were not exactly cheap.  Although I was happy with my purchase but it was a long time ago.

Because a business needs a market..... This is in reality a very small market place. A business with 5 employees has more overheads than you think. A single person running it in his spare time might just scrape through, but not something this size.  In any case, the history of this hobby is littered with people who thought they could make money out of building cabinet kits and parts. Very very few have actually managed that, unless it's on the back of another business.

Look at it this way.... Groovy Game Gear is run by Randy and his Other Half. Even he doesn't make the sort of money that buys Rolls Royce cars and Swimming Pools from it.
