Changing over a Dark Legacy and I am looking for this part, either to purchase or a wire diagram so I can make one or bypass it..  And if anyone has done this conversion, please contact me, because I need some help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck finding one.  They're hard to find now. :(

I am curious about the I-40 Aux I/O adapter board too, as mame will need to know how they work before 49-way joystick support can be added to the games that used them.

And why the heck did the midway sports games need them but the atari 49-way games not? ??? Grrrr.

Sorry not much help.  All I can say is googling for them is like looking for a needle in  haystack, and happs, the company that bought midway's arcade parts and service division, doesn't seem to sell it online. :(

edit: Maybe happs does sell it.  Search for part # 04-12652.  ~$18.  :dunno

happ has the i-40 boards, that is where I got mine

the aux out adaptor board from what I found out is nothing more than a wire bridge board, there is nothing circuitry on this board, a 20 ribbon cable connects this to the main board, then it goes to a 15 pin connections, and only 6 of the 15 are used to go to the i-40 board.  What I need to know is what wires from the ribbon cable is used, if someone has a blitz they could take a picture of this and post in on line....  Then you could really make your own.

hey thanks, hopefully this is it.. I will let you know
