Brady never had the stats like this season.  Not even close.  His career high in TD passes is 28.  He has 21 in six games this year.  He averages about 13 INTs a year... through six games he has two.  He already has almost half as many passing yards this year as he had in 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2006.

His stats this year are unprecedented.  He's on pace for like 57 TD passes.

With a 4-wide set and Randy Moss receiving at least double coverage with an extra safety standing by, there is ALWAYS at least one receiver wide open, and usually two more with inadequate single coverage. Give that situation to a competent and accurate QB, and it is easy pickings.

And yes, 21 TD in the first six games has ALOT to do with Randy Moss being on the field.

ChadTower:

Actually, that can be covered with average receivers and no running game.  The problem is that these are all well above average receivers and Brady is one of the all time greats at QB.

The no running game will eventually be an issue, I think.  As is the fact that Brady has no backup worth even mentioning.

If everyone gets healthy then it is a non-issue.  Maroney is averaging 4.7ypc and Morris is averaging 4.5ypc so they are getting the job done when they are in there.

ChadTower:

Maroney won't get healthy.  He has always been an injury problem and has yet to have even much of a healthy month in the NFL.
