NFL MVP through week 6?

ChadTower:
For the purposes of actual discussion, let's not all say Tom Brady.  Too easy.

I'm going with Jeff Garcia.  He doesn't have Brady's eyepopping stats.  He has a 100+ rating on a team that has lots its top three running backs and its left tackle (and possibly TE - info isn't out yet on how long).  He has zero INTs more than a third of the way through the season.  Garcia is absolutely carrying the Bucs' offense... he has only been sacked 5 times and let's just say his line isn't exactly giving him 6 seconds to find a receiver.  Yesterday the Titans took the lead with 1:17 left and Garcia calmly marched them downfield for the go ahead score with :11 left.  Clutch.  This same team last year would probably be 1-5 with Simms in there.

I'll go with Randy Moss. He is playing at the top of his game, AND keeping his big mouth shut. Just being on the field, he creates openings all over the place even when he is not directly involved in the play. He has diversified how he plays by operating from every wide receiver position. Take him out of that offense, and Brady's numbers go way down.

The numbers don't go away, they just go to another WR. He's been doing that for many years without a star.

ChadTower:
Not quite... there are a hell of a lot more numbers than there have ever been for the Pats.  The Pats offense this year is scoring so many more points now it's ridiculous.  You just can't cover them all.  Too many weapons and that's without a running game.

tommy:
Brady always got the job done and had the stats, only now they are all piled up on one WR when they used to be spread out among many guys.
