Mjolnir emulator looking good
(1/4) > >>
SGT:
For those that haven't been following Phil Stroffolino's new emulator, MJOLNIR:

Version .3 is now out:  http://machna.com/games/index.html

This emulator makes the Namco System 21 and 22 roms play at an acceptable speed.  Seems Starblade and Prop Cycle have been the focus in the early going with both playable.  Sounds like drivers for the other roms will be improved after Starblade is perfected. :applaud:

Now if there was only a new release of the M2 emulator.

SGT,

What games will this emulator play?  Is there a list?  Thanks.

Ridge Racer?! AAAhhh!!!Awesome... I played this one so much in the arcades 10 years ago...

Thanks for the link!

So... He mentions submitting a driver to MAME... Is this going to be part of MAME then? or should we setup this as a separate emu, like Model2?
SGT:
From what I gather, he will continue to have a separate emulator because it will be too slow in Mame.  Some comments by R. Belmont and A. Giles on mameworld sounds like some changes to Mame might make those games play fast enough, but who knows how long that will take.
