| Buttons on ya CP |

Actually what I did when I made my first CP was took a piece of scrap wood, laid out the holes where I thought I'd like them and made a mini CP with just a joystick and 6 buttons. I tested it for a bit and then made them a little closer together. I'd get a number to start with but then make a scarp layout so you can just get a feel for it and then go from there. |

I space mine at 1-3/8", but that isn't even a full 1/16" between. It's almost touching. The bezels on the buttons are 1.32, which leaves .0575 between them on a perfect drill. Leaf switches end up actually touching most of the time. I think they have a slightly larger bezel on them. |

In general terms, what's considered best spacing between ya buttons??? It'll be 6 button and I'm trying to work out whats favourite/standard. Thanks in Advance Stace --- End quote --- I can't read a thing on this site, but it was a great resource for me... http://www.kowal.itcom.pl/ArcadeParts_pliki/Projekt.htm |

Thanks. The diagrams pretty much explain themselves. XyloSesame, I'm guessing you've used these figures on a layout, was it comfortable?? |
