| The one that got away... |

So I picked up a "free" cabinet the other day. It looked rough, real rough. I didn't know the extent of it till I got it home and started cleaning it. Once I got inside and started taking some screws out - the amount of damage became clear. When pulling out the t-mold ripped out big chunks of plywood I decided it wasn't worth saving. Lots of dryrot and water damage. Any of you guys go through all the hassle and end up burning several hours for nothing? |

Chalk the hours lost up to experience -- the time is not lost. This hobby is far from an exact science, and everyone is going to misfire every now and then. At least you aren't out any real $$ for the cabinet. That's one that can really sting. |

They never get away. I just finished one that had water damage. I chopped it up. I just posted it for future reference. http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=72129.0 |

Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. This past weekend I definitely won - I got a free Hard Drivin cockpit cab, only things that don't work are the steering and the seat doesn't lock into place... :applaud: I'm sure that wasn't your last cab, so the next one will be a keeper! |
