Battlezone...Roadtrip + WIP -> Bad Ram =(

<< < (2/4) > >>

Darth Nuno:
Yes... I was a little bit affraid the first time I got a cab from UK... but  there's no problem at all with these old video games (except UK is losing each time I go there a little bit of their 'retro-arcade-heritage'  8))

Level42:
Bwahhh, I'd call it balancing things :D

polaris:
i wish the borders were as open as you say, id be over to holland 'shopping', once a fortnight, but believe me they may not care what goes out, but they ---smurfing--- well care about what comes in. :D
i love being part of europe though, it means i have seven political representatives as opposed to just six.

Level42:
Yeah, but that's a typical UK thing....not the other way around or between most of the other EC countries...
I sympathize with you :)

However, what would be the problem taking an old cab into the UK from the mainland ?

You still are entitled of free goods movement within the EU aren't you ?

Darth Nuno:
Ok, let's start to work on this one...

Atari Euro Model :

Two boards :

- [ A ] BOARD / BATTLE ZONE AUX BD

- [ B ] BOARD / 6502A ANALOG VEC GEN

The usual Audio Regulator board....

The power supply ... full of dust  :?

Ok, let's power on the game :

- Nothing on screen (but the tube is powered)
- 1 high tone
- 1 low tune

Check out the doc :

Ok, the problem is during the self procedure, so that's the reason I can't see anything on the screen... The monitor display things AFTER the self-test...

Let's pull off the boards, in order to localize the *bad* ram(s ?) :

Here's what I need

Ref : 2114L3PC / 8030

Do you know where I can order such rams ?
