Those look amazing
are those vector images that you had redone?
I think I better jump on the band waggon and start my side art
soon!
DinoRoger:
Nope, all were scans or small images I found online and cleaned with Photoshop. For example here is original image of Wolverine I started with today:
http://www.pchelplive.com/dinos/Wizard-96-Cover-2.jpg
I just finished a few minutes ago and the final image is 25x27.5 inches - 191MB at 300dpi and looks better than the original small art. I dont think I will be posting the finished image ;D for the obvious reasons.
The final Magneto image above prints at 54.1 x 83.6 inches.

Hey DinoRoger,
How hard was it too clean up the images?
Basically, I want to know what would be easier to do, redraw
with Illustrator as a vector images or clean up the jpg.
FYI, I am not very skilled with Photoshop or Illustrator
DinoRoger:
It all depends on the original image quality. Try blowing it up first and if it looks fixable do it. If not try to grab the lines and re-color in Illustrator. Every image has its own quirks.
DinoRoger:
After I think of a good name for this beast I will be designing a new marquee for it. Yours looks great but half the fun for me is creating my own if you know what I mean. The only good way to get the Wolverine image to you would be to snail mail it on CD. This image is 191MB. It is layered in Adobe Photoshop with the image, background, image background on its own layers for easy color changing. I even made an extra square of the image background color at the top to take to the paint shop with ya. if you can find a host I could upload it to I can do that sometime.
