Looking for a zip of a skin (Wallbox2)
« on: September 24, 2007, 01:20:18 am »
:hissy: Earthlink says file not found, and no response from it's creator (as yet) could someone please send me wallbox 2? Default is great, Alienbox was so cool it made me look a bit deeper in the posts (okay all of them related to .skn files) but after discovering my mistakes, and getting a 2004 walmartPavilion mobo to run Wincab I've just got to see that Seeburg wallbox skin on the dell lcd screen I just salvaged.
BTW, the entire box/machine is salvaged, excluding the airtouch keyboard.
Next related project will be a proper jukebox cabinet (hopefully from salvaged 3/4 plywood).
If I want it, and I can draw it, I'll build it.

I need to start archiving skins... I see that Lhupa's skins have expired from their host.  I grabbed all of EBateman's skins I could get; wallbox2 was not one of them.

I'm putting up a new site at http://www.dwjukebox.com but it's not quite ready yet.. when it's done it will have a skin archive and, if I can manage it, a skin submission form.

Sorry about that...I only have 10MB of space at Earthlink and I needed to use it for something else, so I had to take many of the skins down...I didn't think anybody looked at them!

They're all back up...to see the whole collection, view my latest posts at:

Chris -- feel free to take what you need for your skin archive...just an attribution would do...

I'll get them moved over to my webspace ASAP...  I have 5GB from GoDaddy and Saint gives me overflow space here.

I'd also like to put one or two in the official distribution... probably ChromeBox and CDBox4Up... if you don't mind...

Not at all...thanks for the info on the alleg42.dll. I don't use a touchscreen so I never noticed.

:notworthy: :notworthy: Thanks... BTW in the note about Central N.Y. Etc. I was hatched at the old T.B. Sanitarium in Clifton Springs. I'm going to study wallbox2 and hopefully create a Wallbox3 based on a Rowe/Ami fullscreen shot I found on a sales site. Again, my thanks.
If I want it, and I can draw it, I'll build it.

I know the skin code isn't intuitive so if you have any questions at all about how to make something work, drop me a note.
