Marquee Retainer

Senator:

I was rumaging around Home Depot looking for something to use and I came across a great item.  Look at the drop ceilings, they use a nice aluminum L-bracket that goes against the wall.  Strong enough for the marquee yet light weight enough that its easy to bend to the angle of your cab and easy to work with.  Only comes in white so some spray paint is in order.  Best part: $5 for a 12 foot length ;)

I don't need this info, but I am sure some people will benefit from it.  Thanks for contributing, it's a shame some people don't think this info is worth a supportive response, who knows... maybe those people are ---Deutsche Frankfurters---.

Thats actually a great idea.  It is exactly what I used to hold up my marquee.  Picked up two yard long aluminum L brackets.  Cut them the right length with a hack saw, cuts like butter.  Drilled some holes and spray painted them with some rustoleum.  Looks great, shiny with a real professional look.

You can see in the below pics that the retainer looks much more professional than the top of my cab.

A yellow-green marquee with blue t-molding?  Interesting colors.
