FS: Laptops, PIII Mobo, Misc PC Stuff - Tulsa, OK
« on: September 16, 2007, 12:16:25 pm »
I've got to clean the 'puter pile to gain full wife approval to begin construction of my cab... before I go to the wastelands of eBay, I thought I'd see if there was any interest here.

All notebooks and parts were working when pulled, but are sold as-is, no warranty, returns, guarantees. Buyer pays shipping.

The EMU soundcard was pulled from my working system in 2002 - if I remember correctly, I think the Digital In for CD/DVD was not functioning. That was a long time ago, but I seem to recall the cable/connector was broken.

All laptop LCDs are functional and appear to be in good condition. I'll hopefully be getting photos together soon; if there is any interest here, I'll post them as requested. Item listing and details below - thanks...

Any idea on the battery life?

Oh, and do you have any hdd for sale too? It would be much nicer to get it all in one go.

No idea on the battery life, though I would imagine it would be less-than-stellar for the Compaqs. The Dell might give you some juice for a while, but since all of the units are older models, I wouldn't operate away from AC for any length of time.

It looks like the Dell and the 1230 have working HDDs, but the other HDDs have been scrapped.

I've still got the Compaq 1230 available, and surely someone needs a 600MHz PIII/Mobo combo right? Don't any of you need to take tape backups of your MAME install with a SCSI SureStor DAT drive??? Seems like that ought to be SOP...

Really, this is just a shameless bump. Going of eBay the first of next week, thanks to everyone for their purchases and inquiries.
