Hey guys, I'm helping out a friend who just picked up a millipede that's all complete except for the marquee frame. I guess that's what you would call it - pic enclosed of the area it goes. Does anyone know of someone parting out a millipede cab with this item for sale, or some good pics of the "frame" off the cab and some measurements to make one. I know its basically a wood frame with a hole in it for the glass to sit in then the overlay over it - which he has the overlay. Thanks!! ~V |

Thats original, and it's complete minus the marquee, millipede used a roll over type marquee that was like a sticker and stuck on. What I did for my multi millipede was just added a piece of wood to the top to make a box and then took the brackets off a centipede and it works and looks good. Hawk |

Hawk --- End quote --- Thanks for the quick reply! I actually told him to do that, but he didn't like the "centipede" look. Says he wants to do a restoration, and be pretty close to original (at least visually) that it can. What I'm thinking of doing is taking 2 boards, and angle cutting them together, then using a jigsaw and router to cut and step the hole for some lexan, then recover it. I was hoping for some measurements though. Like I said - I'm "helping" him with this, so if he wants it original, id like to stay with that. Thanks! V~ |

Just buy a repro marquee and put it on there like it should be. Hawk |

Hes already got the repro marquee, just no where to stick it too since the box or frame is missing |
