"Also maybe, given the forum he posted his question in he'd like to know about possible issues of the different emulators in an arcade cabinet?" :blah: Thats not what he asked! He asked which emulator runs the best. A pointless question. Its like asking which washing powder gets your clothes the cleanest. I suggested a google search as a way of finding out some information on these emulators that has been posted a million times. Perhaps instead of posting questions that have been answered a million times before you should do a little research. :soapbox: |

Emulators are constantly being improved upon. There is so much incorrect information out there that is outdated. There are a tons of old website pages that sing the praises of emulators that are no longer being developed or are no longer #1. Besides, that IS what this forum is for. |

And guys like you have trouble remembering what its like. Your excited about the project, you are trying to find answers, so you post. Anyone that uses the net finds that you will get a ton of websites telling you to go this way, then another ton of sites tell you to go that way. That is why forums are used, to sort through the cr*p. Stop assuming that people like me have no understanding of a PC, or haven't done websearches and research. I'm not an idiot, I know computers, most likely even better than you do, so point is, don't post in forums if all you are is frustrated. Nuff said |

Im sure your some kind of computer god! Far be it from me to question your genius. :laugh2: My point is simple you asked which cps1/2 etc is the best. Well frankly as thats all you asked you got an appropriate response. Had you asked wich works best on an arcade monitor/vga/Tv cabinet setup you would have got a serious response. Maybe its not your computer skills im questioning just your interpersonal skills. :dizzy: |

If we were at work and I came to ask you a question, lets say, "What's better, a MAC or a PC?" I expect to get an answer from you on your opinion of the two, not "I don't know, go google it". That response might end up on your 2007 Review. ;) Back to the original poster, what kind of machine will you be running it on? That will help with the choice. |
