What cocktail games allow 2 player simultaneous play?
Smack:
You can set up Gauntlet, Super Sprint, Indy 500, etc...
Poke around for 2 player horizontal games, then set it so that the screen doesn't flip, then remap the controls relative to the view from the ends of the cocktail.
My 2 cents... ;D

Yeah, what I should have said was a "traditional" cocktail. It was a standup table. I still have the control panels from it, but not the table itself.

Awesome! I spend one whole vacation visiting my grandparents playing that, or begging my grandparents to take me to the arcade so I could play it. ::)
Four player, standup horizontal, two on each side. Haven't seen one of these since forever. :'(

Atari football, atari soccer (need trackballs for both). There's four player versions, too.
They're really horizontal games, but for atarifb at least, it's better played on a vertical cocktail when showing the football plays selection art (needed so you can tell what play you're running).

Wow! I don't know why I didn't realize this before. I completely left out a lot of horizontal games that would work just as well in a vertical cocktail setup.
How could I have left out Asteroids? Oh, the shame! :'(
