I made a mistake, I finally searched the NJ business site properly and the company is listed Slikstik, LLC. I know someone on here would correct me so I wanted to check it out and I wanted to get the proper information for my records.

Hopefully I will receive my proimsed refund today!

You should absolutely not have to pay a restocking fee for product that never shipped.  Especially if there was no disclosure of a potential restocking fee upon purchase.

I'd say that a restocking fee is a bit weird when there basically isn't anything to "restock". On the other hand, Isn't this a custom thing? Maybe he started building the thing already and it was just waiting for the trackball? He would be stuck with a custom box without an order then.

All I can input is that I've never ordered from SlikStik for the sole reason posted here.  This guy isn't the first to complain about lack of customer service from the company.  As a matter of fact,  I can't think of any other company in this hobby who has gotten more complaint posts about them.  Do a search... SlikSlick has quite a number of complaint posts about them.  Then do the same for Groovy Game Gear...then Ultimarc...then ArcadeShop...then MikesArcade.  Hell,  even DIVEMASTER who is doing this on the side,  with no dedicated website presence,  with no actual advertising budget (I am guessing here), etc...he gets nothing but props,  and Christian gets panned for his atrocious customer service.

The funny thing is that most people agree that the product is top notch... too bad the company seems very lacking on everything else.

I'd never purchase a single thing from them because of the stream of complaints coming from their customers (not all evidently...but it seems a higher number than most other vendors/manufacturers).

Those are just a few examples using very weak SearchFu.... but a helluva reason to avoid SlikSlik if you want your control panel anytime soon.   It all seems to be the same complaint....lack of customer service.  You'd think the guy'd get a clue.  Evidently not.

like shardian suggested if you dont get a refund you could take it up with your bank and do a chargeback dispute there like $35.00 bucks but I think if you file the fraud papers on top of it they will also refund the $35.00 back if the other party is at fault in the end.

most banks have various different policy's and fee's so I'm not 100% sure how yours works but I would go to them if all else fails.
