The auction I go to makes you fill out and sign a form (address, phone number, sig) but I don't recall ever showing ID, so I guess technically, if I'm paying in cash I could buy anonymously... |

Lessons Learned from the last auction: Bring an Extension cord in case you want to power up a machine that is away from the powered machines. There were two rows without power at the last one. Bring a flashlight, great for peaking in to see if a board is even in the thing or if its the right board. bring some quarters :laugh2: , sometimes cabinets are locked so you can test them to see if they play blind unless you put a quarter in... |

Also, bring a hand cart (furntature dolly) in case you pull the trigger on a machine. They will not help you get it out of the building unless you slip someone a 20 or something. Bring a digital camera as well, 1.) makes for a more interesting read should you buy one 2.) you can take pictures in case you decide you are going to build it from scratch. good luck -csa |
