Help: Asteroid Deluxe. Stopped working after I opened the door

Jetto Funk:

So I blew a fuse in my cab a while back. Well I just got unlazy today and fixed the fuse and was playing with the cab for a good portion of the day. Well I opened the coin door and the machine shut off. No big deal I thought, there's the on off switch that is held by the door. I cleaned up the machine a bit than shut the door and went to turn it on and nothing.. Not even a sound or a pop. I checked all the fuses and they look fine, I'm stumped. I pressed the button manually and tried to reset it a few times but nothing.
Any ideas?

Ed_McCarron:

Switch died?  Try bypassing it?

Havok:

Check the slam switch and verify the contacts aren't touching? (If Asteroids has one)

Jetto Funk:

Hmm, just cut the wires and spin them together?
Not really a slam switch but same principal

They look fine or they test fine. You can't trust a visual inspection.

Have you tried pulling the interlock switch out (e.g. open the door and pull the plunger instead of pushing it) ?
