Got a crappy old PC today to test my CP and EUREKA!!!! It works  :applaud: :applaud: :applaud:

Had a (very slow) game of 1942 and wow - its been worth the hard work so far - what a magical moment when you use the cabinet for the first time.

(Another) BIG THANKS to all that have helped me so far - you are all legends!  :applaud: :applaud: :applaud:

Apollo:

Nice work, I remember that magical moment, it's a very cool thing. Well done.

Cheers Apollo! Cant wait to finish it now and get a decent PC in there

Great work.  Always emotional the 1st time.

BTW, I highly recommend that you put some L brackets or something similar to support your trackball and not depend on the Lexan to support it.  Here's mine in the attach pic.

Cheers XMEN - are the brackets screwed straight into the plastic?

I do bow down to peoples experience, but the trackball is in solid (prob thanks to the plastic faceplate?) - dont think its going anywhere, there is no lateral movement at all as the weight is spread over the lexan by the plastic plate.

I prob will put the L-Brackets in though for super-safety!
