Looking at the notes found here... http://www.mameworld.net/maws/romset/trackfld ...you'll find this quote: --- Quote ---* Hint : When you alternate tapping the run buttons (run1, run2, run1, run2 etc.) you will get a much better speed increase. You have three attempts to qualify on all but the two running events. --- End quote --- To me it kind of makes sense since each run button represents each leg. Pressing them simultaneously is like hopping instead of running. It's hard to win a race when you hop. ;D |

Yes this is the technique I use one button then the other but its not working that well very unresponsive. Iv played this game to death when I was younger and this version just doesnt feel right/ the same. |

Regarding the unresponsiveness, if you don't get an answer here you might try at Mameworld at the link below. A lot of the mame devs hang out there. http://www.mameworld.info/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?Cat=&C=1 |

Thanks Sgt, I might hit them up on that site for some info if nothing happens here |

Sgt, spoke with some of those guys who also mentioned about the two run buttons being pressed in sequence but I already knew this from way back and this problem seems more than that as in hammering the buttons as fast as I possible can and still getting the same very disappointing results and in some cases even failing to qualify on certain events. |
